Whether you're a novice or haven't ridden before through to experienced riders, we offer a range of hacks around the beautiful St Agnes that are suitable for all abilities.

We're very fortunate to have a selection of beautiful countryside hacks around the rugged St Agnes coastline, join us for a riding adventure you'll never forget. We run hacks suitable for every ability, whether you're an experienced rider, or just starting your riding journey.

We have a wide variety of horses and ponies, of all heights and shapes, to suit all riding abilities.

1/2 hour private hack £25.00
1/2 hour private hack (walk or trot), lead by confidence parents or family member in our front field £20.00

Christmas Pub Rides

Festive Christmas Pub Ride with lovely walks, trots and canters, departing Goonbell at 12.30pm and returning at 3.15pm.

Includes a free drink at the Mithian Arms.

Covid Secure Operational Update

Please follow the latest government advise.

Arrive 15 to 10 minutes before your lesson.
We would like to avoid crossover of people as much as possible.
Please keep two meters distance from our staff and others at all times.
Hand washing facilities are available with paper towels.
All riders must wear gloves.

Please wear a face mask when mounting and dismounting to keep yourself and us safe. Keep your mask on while your stirrups and girth are being adjusted.

Provided hats and boots, hand sanitiser and disposable gloves (plus self-assessment forms if you're new to Goonbell), are located in the horse box at the entrance to the yard.

Unless leading your child, to keep everyone safe, adults should remain in the car park. Your child will be accompanied by one of our staff members back to the car park when their hack has finished.

If possible, please pay by bank transfer the day before or by cash in a named envelope on the day.

Please stay away if you have any cold/flu/virus symptoms, or if you have been in contact with anyone known to be affected or you or someone in your family are vulnerable.

Terms and Conditions

If you need to cancel a hack please give at least 12 hours notice.
If you cancel a hack with less than 12 hours notice, you will be charged the full price.
You must fill in a self-assessment form if you are a new rider at Goonbell.
