The show will be run under Goonbell Riding Centre Rules.

There are four riders in each team (best 3 scores count)

You may enter 3 riders, but all scores will count.

(If you can’t find four riders you can send entries in and we can help get more team members or you can borrow riders from other schools or even ride twice on different ponies)

Schools can enter more than 1 team.

Ponies and horses can be hired from Goonbell at £15.00 each.

No substitutions will be allowed once the competition has started. The team competition will be decided on the best 3 scores from each Gymkhana race/game.

A trophy will be presented to the winning primary school team and winning secondary school team.

It will need to be returned for next year and be ingraved with team names and ponies names.

Rosettes will be given to 5th place for teams.

Chocolates will be given to the best 6 turned out teams

All participants that take part in all aspects of competition will receive a participation rosette at the presentation.

Each team will require an adult team manager (chef d'équipe) who will be responsible for ensuring that their team is present and ready on time.

The team manager does not necessarily have to be a teacher and can be a parent or an other responsible adult.

We will require a contact number and email address for all team leaders as the competition is held outside school hours. (If you would like details sent straight to you then please email me at goonbellridingcentre.inquires@yahoo.co.uk)
